Lindy’s Stamp Gang November Color Challenge

Hi everyone, today I’m showing you my inspiration for the Lindy’s Stamp Gang November Color Challenge mood board. I felt like creating a Christmas card and this how I went about it! This is what this month’s mood board looks like: Step 1: I started by stamping the images I needed onto some Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface Paper using Versafine “Onyx Black” ink and clear heat embossing afterwards using Lindy’s Stamp “Clearly Clear” embossing powder. The stamp set I used is by

Derwent Inktense Travel Set #02 with Altenew Stamps

Hi everyone, today I would like to show you this card that I coloured with the new Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Travel Set Palette #02. To me this new palette is more versatile then the first one because the colours are brighter and there is a white included. The first palette is still really pretty but more suitable for landscapes and such, I feel (it’s a more muted palette). To get today’s card started I die cut a rectangle panel from Schut Terschelling “Aquarelbloc Hot Press

    Graphitint Masculine Birthday Card

Hi everyone, today I’m on the Colourstock blog with this fun and easy masculine birthday card, for which I used pencils from a line by Derwent that is called "Graphitint". This is a tinted graphite pencil that combines the easiness of a graphite pencil with a hint of soft, subtle colour and they can be activated with water (as I will show you) but you don’t have to do this of course! Step 1: I used a piece of Terschelling Schut “Hot Pressed” watercolour paper and on this piec

Colour Crazy Guest Designer - She Wolf

Hi everyone, today I’m showing you’ll the card that I created for my first guest design post over on the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog. If you don’t know what a challenge blog is then definitely go and check it out! I started my card by printing this gorgeous digital stamp from The Paper Shelter called “She Wolf“ onto some Canson 1557 paper (I like this particular paper because it takes coloured pencil well, it’s white and it’s thick enough but not to thick to run it through my

    Rebel

Hi everyone, today I have a card for you featuring a gorgeous digital stamp from The Paper Shelter. I love The Paper Shelter images because they have a lot of genres to choose from, there is something for everybody’s taste, and today I have this beauty for you, she’s called “Rebel“. I started my card by printing this image onto Clairefontaine Digital Colour Printing (DCP) paper (190 gr). Then I die cut around the image using one of the rectangle nesting dies from my Crea-Nest

    Autumn Birthday Greetings

Hi everyone, you probably didn’t noticed but I was on summer vacation for a couple of weeks and though our vacation didn’t turned out the way we planned or hoped for (due to family circumstances), we did manage to have an awesome day at the zoo yesterday. We went to “Ouwehand’s Dierenpark“ in Rhenen, the Netherlands. Amongst all the wonderful animals we saw these beautiful flamingo’s. The weather was also nice for a change, so we really enjoyed ourselves. But, back to the car

A stamping tool review: the MISTI

There are different stamping tools to get us the perfect stamped image in exactly the right spot. I have, for example, heard of and seen in YouTube-videos Inkadinkado's Stamp-A-Ma-Jig but I have never tried this one myself since I don’t have wood mounted stamps. I guess that it would come in handy for some EZ-mounted stamps as well. And of course there are the regular see through acrylic blocks that you can put your clear stamps on and see through them (hover your head straig
