    Mother’s Day Card

Hi everyone, today it’s Mother’s Day in the Netherlands, so I can show you the card that I created for my mother (since she has now received it)! I was in the mood for colouring and choose to work with my Copics. I first die cut a piece of Copic friendly paper (for this project I used Strathmore “Marker Paper”, which is slightly crème coloured) to the size that I needed for my card (two sizes smaller then my card base). Then I stamped two of the images from the Penny Black “F

    Dahlia Die Cut Birthday Card

Hi everyone, today I would like to show you my latest project as a guest designer for Crealies (Crealies is a Dutch die and stamp company that also ships internationally). For today’s project I choose to make a birthday card where I die cut several pieces from one stamped image to create a fun design. Let’s get started: Step 1: I started my project by stamping the Dahlia image (CLRS03)onto Copic friendly paper using Memento “Tuxedo Black” ink. Then I used one of the smaller d

Copic Ink in combination with clay moulds

Hi everyone, today I’m on the Colourstock blog with a fun project where I use clay moulds for the first time. I have been eyeing these kind of moulds for some time now and I finally made the decision to try them out! The fun part is that you can colour these moulds with about any medium, today it will be Copic Ink! And since they are made with light weight clay they can also be used on my card projects! Step 1: I first created two moulds because these need some time to dry b

    Hot Foiled Birthday Cards

Hi everyone, today I’m on The Crafter’s Workshop blog with a fun set of birthday cards for which I used The Crafter’s Workshop “Hot Foil Gel”. This stuff is just fabulous (to work with and what effects you can create with it)! Lots of ground to cover, so let’s get started! -------------------------------- The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project. The opinions I share are solely my own. -------------------------------- Step 1: I’m going to cr

    Wintry Birthday Card

Hi everyone, today I would like to show you another quick, fun, masculine and wintry birthday card! It contains some colouring, a bit of stamping and then you can already put this card together. Let’s get started! I inked up a Lili of the Valley stamp called “Snow Shovel“, using Memento “Tuxedo Black“ ink, then I wiped away the ink from the licence plate of the car (that reads X-MAS) with my finger, and stamped the image on Copic friendly paper. With a Copic MultiLiner (0.1)

    Altered Pictureframes

Hi everyone, today I’m on the Colourstock Blog with an altered pair of picture-frames. This particular set was created as a, what we Dutch call, “Sinterklaas-surprise“, comparable to a Christmas present if you like. I started with a pair of picture-frames from the dollarstore / Action (for everyone living in Europe) and they looked like this: Step 1: To prepare the surface of the frames for my later work I added two coats of The Crafter’s Workshop “White Gesso“ using a brush.
