    Freddie

Hi everyone, today I have a superquick en easy card for you. I choose one of my favourite cute stamps, some coloured pencils and of we go! I started my project by tearing a piece of Clairefontaine “Paint On Naturel“ paper into the shape that I liked for the front of my card. Then I stamped the adorable Whimsy Stamps image called “Freddie” on the panel using Versafine “Onyx Black“ ink and my MISTI. I also used a sentiment from a no name brand stamp set that I also stamped on t

    Art Journal Page: Winter

Hi everyone, today I’m on the Colourstock Blog with a fun winter themed art journal page: I’m not a fan of the winter weather, I don’t like ice and cold, but I do agree with the quote that I used on today’s page, so I try to remind myself of that whenever I’m not enjoying the current season! So, let’s get started! Step 1: Today I’m working in my A4 sized journal by Studio Light, designed by Art by Marlene. The paper can handle a lot of water, but it doesn’t react well to eras

    Art Journal Page: Pumpkin Spice

Hi everyone, today I’m on The Crafter’s Workshop blog with a fall inspired art journal page. I’m working in my 13 x 21 cm Art Plus Moleskine Sketchbook (I keep an empty page between two used pages, when the project is finished I glue them together, this way anything bleeding through won’t damage a previous project and when you want to poke a hole in the page you can). -------------------------------- The Crafter’s Workshop provided me with some product to create this project.

    Art Journal Page: Second Spring

Hi everyone, today I would like to show you my first project as a Design Team Member for Colourstock. For today’s project I choose to create an art journal page inspired by autumn and autumn colours! So, let’s get started! Step 1: I printed a digital stamp by Power Poppy (“Olive and Oak”) onto Copic friendly paper and then coloured the image using the following Copic Markers colours: Green shades: G40, G00, YG03, G16, YG17, YG63 en YG97. Brown shades: YR30, Y26, E99 en E29. T

    Beautiful Bloom with a Bow

Hi everyone, today I have this bright and sunny birthday card for you all. To get this card started I stamped the biggest flower from the gorgeous Kennedy Grace Creations stamp set “Beautiful Blooms - Sweet Rose” onto some Strathmore “Toned Gray” paper with Versafine “Onyx Black” ink. I made sure that I didn’t stamp the smallest flowers, just the big one, as a stand alone flower. This stamp set is very versatile, you can use the little flowers alone, the big flower alone and

    Art Journal Page: Butterfly

Hi everyone, today I'm on The Crafter's Workshop blog and I would like to show you an art journal page: the idea behind this page is that there are butterflies sitting on branches and the branches are hanging over the water. This page was created in a 13 x 21 cm Art Plus Moleskine Sketchbook (I keep an empty page between two used pages, when the project is finished I glue them together, this way anything bleeding through won’t damage a previous project and when you want to p

    Calender Month Series - August

Hi everyone, today I have what is already the eight instalment of this Calender Month Series for you all. The summer vacations are almost over, kids are getting ready to go back to school again (at least where I live) and we hope to have nice summery weather in September also! So, for this month’s page I’m working with a very light (but not pastel or dull) sort of green and a darker purplish-pinkish colour. And I figured that since I haven’t used any kraft coloured paper to c
