This particular set was created as a, what we Dutch call, “Sinterklaas-surprise“, comparable to a Christmas present if you like. I started with a pair of picture-frames from the dollarstore / Action (for everyone living in Europe) and they looked like this: Step 1: To prepare the surface of the frames for my later work I added two coats of The Crafter’s Workshop “White Gesso“ using a brush.
