Hi guys! Today I have a fun gender neutral card for you all. It’s fairly quick to make also. I started by stamping the fish from the “Snorkel Fun Fishy” stamp set from Your Next Stamp on Copic friendly paper with Memento “Tuxedo Black” ink.
Next I coloured the image with the following Copic markers:
- for my oranges I used: E11 / YR14 and YR18;
- for my greens I used: G40 and YG06;
- for my purples I used: V12 and V17;
- and for my blues I used: B0000 and B21.
After drying I put on some white accents with a Sakura Gelly Roll pen and I used some Glossy Accents on the glass and the water bubbles.
For my background I cut a piece of white card stock in the size I wanted. Then I put a light layer of Memento’s “Summer Sky” on with a foam tool. I stamped two sentiments with Versafine “Onyx Black” ink. One sentiment is from the Snorkel Fun Fishy stamp set mentioned above and the other one is from the “Fishy Fun” stamp set, also from Your Next Stamp. I stamped the sentiments with my MISTI so that I was able to get really black characters.
After drying I run this piece through my Big Shot with a Stampin’ Up Textured Impressions Embossing Folder called “Seaside” and I went over the raised area’s with Memento’s “Danube Blue” ink and a foam tool.
To ensemble this card I used a crème coloured card base and put the blue Seaside piece on there with one millimetre thick foam tape to create some dimension. Then I foam taped this fun fish on there also with some foam tape and adhered the bubbles with some 3D-glue.
For my embellishments I used some “Sparkling Clear” sequins from Pretty Pink Posh in different sizes that I glued on with Ranger Medium Matte and I also splattered on some Finetec Pearlcolor in “Sterling Silver”.
And that finishes today’s first fun and quick card!
For my second card everything is the same except that I used a few different Copic colours: the greens and the purples are the same as in my first card. For my yellows I used Y000 / Y11 and Y08. I love how the card looks completely different when you use different colours!
And that’s it for today. I hope you enjoyed! Have a creative day.
