Hi everyone! Wow, today I have the last Calender Month page in this Series for you all: 2017 went by fast! As with the November page I created this page about a year ago when I didn’t had the idea yet to use this calender as a series for my blog. There aren’t a lot of materials used so I think I can remember everything that I used for this page though.
This months page is giving me a dusty sage green and bright green colour to work with. I love my greens and reds for Christmas time and since Christmas is in December I felt like featuring these colours on today’s project.
To get this page started I die cut around the pre-coloured Whimsy Stamps image called “Mr. Frosty“ and layered it first on some matching green card stock, die cut around it and then layered that onto some gold glittery paper and fussy cut around these combined layers.
Now I can work on the background: I cut a piece of the same green card stock in the size that I wanted for my biggest background panel. Then I cut two pieces of dark red card stock and ran each piece through my die cutting machine with an embossing folder from a embossing and die cutting set from Marianne Design with the number DF3415. Then I die cut using the die in this same set: one element from the same green card stock and two elements from the same gold glitter card stock.

And then it’s already time to put this page together: I adhered the largest green panel on the calender page. Then I adhered the two red panels in the middle of this green panel. I adhered the gold and green die cut swirly elements on top using Ranger Medium Matte and then the triple mat with the snowman on top, covering up the edge where the two red panels meet, using one millimetre thick foam tape to adhere this topper. I finished this page with some matching red and gold sequins and those I also adhered with Ranger Medium Matte.
Flipping through my now completed Calender Month Series project makes me really happy, to know that I created each page with my own hands, working with all the fun materials in my stash and thinking up new idea’s that work for each page was a lot of fun! I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did!

Let’s see what fun crafting idea’s 2018 will bring us!
