Hi everyone, today I would like to show you my take on the Lindy’s Stamp Gang July Challenge Mood Board! This is a fun and bright colour combination that can be challenging (because of the really bright yellow, which doesn't make taking pictures any easier ;-) ). I decided to make a card using two matching Winnie & Walter stamp sets and lots of fun Lindy’s supplies.
This is what this month’s mood board looks like:
Now, let’s get started!

Step 1:
I started my card by die cutting my smallest rectangle panel from some Canson XL Watercolor card stock using a rectangle die from my nesting die set by Crealies. Then I stamped several times on this panel using Archival Ink in the colour “Jet Black“ using the Winnie & Walter stamp set called “Mini Scenery: Do you see what I see?“.
When the ink had dried I applied some The Crafter’s Workshop “Light & Fluffy Modeling Paste“ over a The Crafter’s Workshop stencil called “Flower Scroll“ (TCW769s) using a palette knife and then sat that aside to dry.
When dry I sprinkled some of the Lindy’s Stamp Gang Magical in the colour “Bling-y Blonde“ on the panel using a fan brush and that sprayed with water which makes the colour run and drying what I had when I liked the results. This I repeated several times. And finally I splattered with some Lindy’s Stamp Gang Spray in the colour “Bachelor Button Blue“ using a brush.

Step 2:
Next I’m going to create the embellishments for my card: I stamped the heart shape from the Winnie & Walter stamp set called “True“ three times onto some Strathmore “Bristol Smooth Surface“ paper using VersaMark ink and then I heat embossed with white embossing powder.
Now I’m going to colour each heart in a different colour (using a small brush) and splatter with the same colour when the colouring is done. I coloured one heart in each of the following colours: LSG Spray “Bachelor Button Blue“ that I used before to splatter on the background, and LSG Magicals in the colours “Shabby Turbine Teal“ and “Prima Donna Purple“.
When the colouring was done and dry I fussy cut all three hearts leaving a small border.

Step 3:
For my sentiment I choose a combination of words from the Winnie & Walter “True“ stamp set that I used before. I stamped the words onto vellum using Versafine “Onyx Black“ ink and I clear heat embossed afterwards, then I cut the strip in the size I liked.
The background panel I edged with Memento ink in the colour “Nautical Blue“ using a foam applicator tool.
Now I’m ready to put my card together: I adhered my background panel to a slightly larger rectangle panel, die cut from some matching purple mirror card stock using liquid glue. Then I adhered the three heart shapes to the card using one millimetre thick foam tape and then I wrapped the vellum sentiment over the front of the card and adhered on the back using regular tape. This combination I adhered to a linen textured crème coloured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape and that finishes today’s card project!

I wish you a creative day and when you go on vacation, have an awesome time!
