Hi everyone today I would like to show you this cute Christmas card, created with two fun Stampin‘ Up stamp sets! I love to use my craft supplies is a versatile way and on this card I combined a none Christmas themed stamp set with a Christmas themed stamp set to create a Christmas card! Let’s get started!
I stamped one of the images from the Stampin‘ Up “Postcard Pals“ stamp set onto Strathmore “Bristol Smooth Surface“ paper, using Versafine “Onyx Black“ ink and clear heat embossing afterwards.
Then I coloured the image using my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and a Pentel Aquabrush. I used the following colours of Zig Markers: Pale Green, Green, Light Carmine, Wine Red, Yellow, Light Blue, Beige, Deep Brown, Brick Beige and Pale Gray.
When I was done colouring and the image was dry I added back in some highlights using a white Gelly Roll pen. And then I fussy cut the image leaving a small white border.
Next I started working on my background panel. I die cut a stitched rectangle panel from the same white linen textured card stock that I choose for my card base. On this panel I first stamped one of the sentiments from the Stampin‘ Up “Snowflake Sentiments” stamp set, using the same black ink as before.

For some added Christmassy feeling I then added some snowflakes to this background by first masking of the sentiment and then stamping one of the snowflakes from the “Snowflake Sentiments“ stamp set that I used before, using Distress Ink in the colour “Tumbled Glass“ (which is the same blue colour as the blue marker that I used to colour the image).
Now I’m ready to put my card together: I die cut a slightly larger deep red coloured rectangle shaped panel and I adhered my snowflake panel with the sentiment on top. Then I wrapped some gold coloured ribbon around the panel and I adhered this on the back using regular tape.
And all I have to do now is to adhere these combined panels to my card base using one millimetre thick foam tape and to finish my card I adhered the cute coloured image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape!
That’s it for today’s Christmas card! I wish you a creative day!
