Hi everyone, today I would like to show you another quick, fun, masculine and wintry birthday card! It contains some colouring, a bit of stamping and then you can already put this card together.
Let’s get started!
I inked up a Lili of the Valley stamp called “Snow Shovel“, using Memento “Tuxedo Black“ ink, then I wiped away the ink from the licence plate of the car (that reads X-MAS) with my finger, and stamped the image on Copic friendly paper. With a Copic MultiLiner (0.1) I wrote random characters on the licence plate and added back in some of the lines that I also erased with my fingers.
This image is way to much fun to just use on Christmas cards and this way you can use it for any other occasion as well!
Let the ink dry for a while before you start colouring the image.

Next I coloured the image using my Copic Sketch Markers in the following colours: C00, C1, C3, C7, C9, 110, W1, W3, W5, Y00, Y04, G14, YG06, G07, YG97, E000, R01, R00, E11, B0000, B21, B37, B24, B99, E31, E55, E39 and E89. When the colouring was done I added in some highlights using a white Gelly Roll Pen.
Then I die cut around the coloured image using a rectangle stitched die from a nesting die set by Crealies. I also created a slightly larger mat from some matching blue card stock and distressed the edges using an edge distresser (but you can also use your scissors). These two panels I adhered together using liquid glue.
For my background I choose to stamp the Stampin‘ Up background stamp called “Buffalo Check“ onto a die cut rectangle panel, created from some white linen textured card stock, using Distress Ink in the colour “Mowed Lawn”. For this panel I also created a slightly larger mat from the same blue card stock and adhered the green check panel and the blue mat together using liquid glue.
Then I stamped one of the sentiments from the Clearly Besotted “A Little Sentimental“ stamp set onto some matching light yellow card stock using the same black ink as before. I die cut around the sentiment using the middle sized die in the Lawn Fawn “Everyday Sentiment Banners“ die set.

Now I’m ready to put my card together: I adhered the two combined smaller panels onto the larger set of panels using one millimetre thick foam tape. Then I adhered the banner to the front of the card using liquid glue, then folded the banner around the back, adhering there using regular tape.
All I have to do now is to adhere this combination to a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.
And that’s it for today’s masculine birthday card! I wish you a creative day!
