Hi everyone, today I have a quick and easy card for you, using the new Derwent Inktense Paint Pan Travel Set #02. Since this set contains a white colour you can make a variety of fun pastel colours with it. The white is also the most opaque colour in this set, which makes it very suitable for darker papers.

Step 1:
I started my project by stamping part of the Simon Says Stamp “Emma Background” stamp onto Clairefontaine Paint On “Naturel” paper and then I die cut a rectangle panel from this stamped image, leaving enough room to also stamp the sentiment (no name brand). I used Archival Ink in “Jet Black” for stamping so that the lines wouldn’t smudge when I added water to the project.
Then I started mixing the pastel colours and painting all the area’s of the stamped image using a small brush.

Step 2:
Working on each colour separately, and deciding which colour should go where.

Step 3:
This way I completed colouring the entire image. I think you can even mix more colours then the ones I show by mixing more then one or two colours with the white one.

Step 4:
Because I felt that the stamped lines weren’t visible enough I then went over the lines with a Copic MultiLiner (0.3) to darken the stamped lines. Then I die cut a slightly larger mat from matching purple card stock, adhered both panels together using liquid glue and then adhered this combination to a crème coloured card base, using one millimetre thick foam tape, to finish my card project.

That’s it for today’s quick and fun project. I wish you a creative day!
