Hi everyone, today I would like to share this fun card project with you all! Let’s get started!
I first stamped this gorgeous image by Penny Black called “Captivating” onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface Paper using a juicy black ink and heat embossing directly afterwards using clear embossing powder.
Now I can colour the image and around the image using my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers. I used the following colours: Marigold, Red Violet, Flame Red, Prussian Blue, Sepia, Ocean Green and Moss. After the colouring is done and dry I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.
Next I die cut a circle shaped card base from a standard square card base in a deep burgundy red colour. I also die cut a slightly smaller circle shaped panel from design paper from my stash. Onto this design paper panel I stamped my sentiment using one of the sentiment from the Marianne Design CS0888 stamp set using black ink.
Now I can finish the card easily: I adhere the circle shaped panel onto my circle shaped card base using liquid glue and adhere the coloured and fussy cut image on top using one millimetre thick foam tape and cut of the excess using my scissors.
And that is it for today’s card project! I wish you a creative day!
