Baby Fairy Bee

Hi everyone, today I would like to share this ubercute fairy card project with you all.

Step 1:

I started my project by printing this digital image by Mo’s Digital Pencil called “Baby Fairy Bee” onto alcohol marker friendly paper. For colouring the image I used my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers and a couple of the Spectrum Noir Classique markers (that are not available yet in the Illustrator form).

For skin I used: FS7, TN1, TN2 and CR1;

For hair I used: GB4, GB7, EB8 and the Classique LY05;

For yellow I picked: CT4 and GY3;

For black I picked: IG6 and IG10;

For pink I picked: BP4, MG2, BP6 and the Classique MG05;

For green I picked: DG1 and DG4.

For colouring around the image I picked: Classique AP05.

You can find all the alcohol markers that I used on today’s project here:

After the colouring was done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I than I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.

Step 2:

For my background I die cut a rectangle panel two sizes smaller than my card base. Onto this panel I stamped my sentiment using black ink (this sentiment is form the Hero Arts stamp set called “Make a Wish”).

Next I placed my stencil of choice (this one is TCW727s) over the panel and applied some Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium in the colour “Antique Pink” over the stencil using a palette knife, and set aside to dry.

Step 3:

When dry I can adhere this panel onto a slightly larger olive green mat using liquid glue. This combination I adhered to my white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape. And to finish this project I now only have to adhere the coloured and fussy cut image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape!

And that is it for today’s project! I wish you a creative day!
