Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another Christmas card project with you all. So, let’s get started!

Step 1:
I started my project by printing this digital image by The Paper Shelter (“What a Mess”) onto alcohol marker friendly paper and than I’m ready to start the colouring process using my Spectrum Noir original Triblend markers. These are three markers in one, each marker containing three colours from the same colour family.
For the green parts from the tree I used: Jade Green Blend and Jade Green Shades.
For the reindeers nose and the other red parts I used: Pale Pink Shades and Dark Red Blend.
For the blue baubles and lights I used: True Blue Blend.
For the yellow Christmas decorations and lights I used: Citrus Blend and Gold Yellow blend.
For the green string from the Christmas lights I used: Dull Green Blend.
For the box I used: Brown Grey Shades.
For the dark brown parts of the reindeer I used: Tan Blend, Tan Shades and Earth Brown Shades.
For the lighter brown parts of the reindeer I used: Gold Brown Blend and Gold Brown Shades.
I coloured around the image using the Aqua Blue Blend and Earth Brown Shades.
When the colouring is done I add back in some highlights using a white gel pen and than I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.
You can find all the Triblend Markers that I used on today’s project HERE!

Step 2:
Now that my focal point is done I’m working on my background panel: for this I die cut a rectangle panel two sizes smaller than my card base from white card stock. Onto this panel I stamp my sentiment from the Clearly Besotted “Feeling Sentimental” stamp set, using black ink.
Next I applied some Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium in the colour “Turquoise” over a stencil (this one is TCW907s) using a palette knife and set that aside to dry.
When dry I than create some splatters using a brush and the Spectrum Noir Sparkle Ink in “Moonstone”.

Step 3:
Now I’m ready to put my project together: I first die cut a slightly larger rectangle panel from matching dark brown card stock and adhered both rectangle panels together using liquid glue. This combination I adhered to a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.
And to finish my project I now only have to adhere the coloured image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s Christmas project! I wish you a creative day!
