Hi everyone, today I’m sharing a new Christmas card project with you all!
I started my project by stamping this image by Trinity Stamps called “Gnome for the Holidays” onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth Surface paper using a juicy black ink pad and heat embossing directly afterwards using a clear embossing powder.

Now I can colour the image and today I’m using my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers in the following colours: Peach, Spice, Flame Red, Sepia, Forest, Ocean Green, Gold, Navy, Teal, Flint, Charcoal and Black. After the colouring is done and dry I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a smaller border.
Now that my focal point is ready I can work on my background: I looked for some matching design papers from my stash and die cut a square panel two sizes smaller than my card base. Onto this panel I stamped my sentiment and this particular one is from the Stampin’Up “Flurry of Wishes” stamp set. I also die cut a slightly larger mat from matching red card stock and adhered both square panels together using liquid glue.

To finish the card I adhered this combination onto a creme coloured linen textured card base and adhered the coloured and fussy cut image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s Christmas card project! I wish you a creative day!
