Hi everyone, today I would like to share this cute birthday card project with you all.

Step 1:
I started my project by printing this digital image by Lili of the Valley called “Oriental Girl - Parasol” onto alcohol marker friendly paper. Next I can start the colouring process and for today’s card I’m using my Spectrum Noir original TriBlend alcohol markers.
For skin I used the Fair Skin Blend marker.
For the black parts like her hair I used the Ice Grey Blend marker and the Ice Grey Shades marker.
For my reds I picked the Dark Red Blend marker and the Dark Red Shades marker.
For my yellow and orangy colours I picked my Citrus Blend marker and my Burnt Orange Blend marker.
For my greens I picked the Yellow Green Blend marker.
To colour around the image I used a SN Classique marker: DP05.
You can find all the TriBlend markers here: https://www.crafterscompanion.eu/art-and-colouring/spectrum-noir/triblend-markers.html
After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.

Step 2:
For my background panel I die cut a square panel from some watercolour paper. Onto this panel I stamped my sentiment using black ink (this one is by Stampendous called “Dream Forever”). Next I placed my stencil of choice (That Special Touch “Moroccan”) onto the panel and I applied some Cosmic Shimmer Sparkle Texture Paste in “Frosty Blossom” over the stencil using a palette knife and set aside to dry.

Step 3:
When dry I matted this square panel onto a slightly larger panel, made from matching olive green card stock, using liquid glue. This combination I adhered onto my creme coloured linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape. And to finish my project I adhered the coloured and fussy cut image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s colouring project, I wish you a creative day!
