Easy Quick Christmas Cards

Hi everyone, today I would like to share this fun set of easy and quick Christmas cards with you all! When you want or need to create lots of Christmas cards not every card can take hours of your time to create, so, to get the pressure of, I also create badges of easy and quick cards. Let’s get started!

I started my project by looking for some nice contrasting (to black) Christmas design paper. These I cut to size, two sizes smaller than my card base. I also created black mats one size smaller than my card base. And I choose white linen textured card bases, because they are the same colour as my embossing powder.

The main sentiment for today’s project is one of the sentiments from the Crafter’s Companion “Believe in Magic” stamp set. I stamped the sentiment onto smooth black card stock using Versamark ink (which is sticky) after using an anti-static powder tool on the paper, this way the embossing powder will only stick to the inked area’s and not, for example, where your fingers have been. Add some white embossing powder to the paper and tab of the excess, heat emboss the sentiment with your heat tool and your focal piece is almost ready.

Next I die cut around the sentiment using a square die and to finish the cards I now only have to adhere the different parts onto each other and onto the card base using liquid glue and one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s quick and easy Christmas card project! I wish you a creative day!
