Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another fun colouring card project with you all!
I started my project by stamping the image in the Art Impressions “Loungers Set” onto alcohol marker friendly paper using alcohol proof ink. Now I can colour the image using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol marker in the following colours: FS6, TN1, BO1, BO4, PP3, DR1, CT4, GY3, TB2, TB5, IG5, GB1, GB2 and RB2. After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.

Now I can work on my background: for this I die cut a square panel two sizes smaller than my card base from white card stock. On this panel I stamp my sentiment (from the same AI stamp set). Next I placed my stencil of choice (Studio Light MASKSL60) over the panel and I applied some Distress Ink in “Antique Linen” over the stencil using a stencil brush.

Finishing the card is easy: I die cut a slightly larger square panel from matching burnt orange card stock and adhered both square panels together using liquid glue. This combination I adhered onto a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape. And to finish the card I adhered the coloured and fussy cut image on top also using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s card project! I wish you a creative day!
