Happy Anniversary

Hi everyone, today I would like to share this anniversary card project with you all!

I started my project by printing this digital image by Mo’s Digital Pencil called “Tom and Tilly” onto alcohol marker friendly paper. Next I die cut a square shape around the image leaving room on the left hand side for my sentiment. I stamped my sentiment, using one of the stamps from the Clearly Besotted “Brushed Sentiments” stamp set in combination with black alcohol proof ink.

Now I can colour the image using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator and Classique alcohol markers:

For skin I used: a Classique marker in CR05 and and an Illustrator marker in TN1;

For gray I used: IG1 and IG5;

For white I used: BG2;

For my reddish hues I picked: FS3, FS5, CR5, CR9, CR10 and DR7;

For green I used: LG1, LG3, LG5 and AG4;

For brown hues I used: RB2, MB1, GB10 and EB5;

Around the image I used a Classique marker in HB05.

After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.

In my stash I looked for some matching design papers and die cut a panel one size smaller than my card base. I also die cut a black mat for the coloured image and adhered both panels together using liquid glue. The design paper panel I adhered onto my white linen textured card base using liquid glue and than adhered the combination of smaller panels on top using one millimetre thick foam tape. And to finish the card I punched out a small heart shape from matching red card stock and adhered that onto the left hand side of the coloured image.

And that is it for today’s project! I wish you a creative day!
