Have a Beautiful Day

Hi everyone, today I would like to share this fun and girly card set with you all!

I started my project by die cutting two rectangle panels from alcohol marker friendly paper and each panel is two sizes smaller then my card base. Onto each panel I now can stamp my girly image as well as my sentiment using black alcohol proof ink.

The girly images are by a Dutch brand called Marianne Design and the stamps carry the numbers HM9454 and HM9456. The sentiment is from the Crafter’s Companion stamp set called “Feathered Friend”.

Now I’m ready for colouring my images: for both images I used my Spectrum Noir original TriBlend alcohol markers in combination with two Spectrum Noir Classique markers. Both images are coloured with the same marker colours.

I used the Fair Skin Blend marker, the Tan Blend marker, the Ice Grey Shades marker, the Brown Grey Shades marker, the Pale Pink Blend marker, the Dark Red Blend marker, the Dark Red Shades marker, the Magenta Blend marker, the Lavender Blend marker, the Gold Yellow Blend marker, the Citrus Blend marker, the Dull Green Blend marker, the Gold Brown Blend marker, the Gold Brown Shades marker, the Tan Shades marker and the Earth Brown Shades marker. And from the Classique marker collection I used the LV05 and the DP05 marker.

After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.

The rest of the cards is quick and easy: for each card I die cut a slightly larger rectangle panel from gold mirror card stock and I adhered both rectangle panels together using liquid glue. This combination I adhered to a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s girly card project! I wish you a creative day!
