Jenine’s Mindful Art Guest Project: Bookmarks

Hi everyone, I was in need of some new bookmarks so I picked some gorgeous design paper from the JMA collections come out so far. And these gorgeous papers don’t really need much else, so let’s get going!

I started my project by picking some of my best loved design papers: I used the JMA-WYS-PP34 / JMA-WYS-PP35 / PPJMA11 and JMA-NA-PP01 paper pads. Next I cut them to the size that I wanted them to be using the Dutch Doobadoo “Tag XL” mask as my base. For pne bookmark I added a fussy cut image available in the same paperpad and adhered that using liquid glue.

If you don’t like the white backsides just cut the papers out twice and adhere them together using liquid glue. I also edged the bookmarks using brown/purple inks in combination with a foam applicator tool.

Time to add some fun quotes to my book marks and for this I used the STICKERJMA04 and STICKERJMA05 sticker books.

Next I laminated the bookmarks to make them a little bit more sturdy, cut them out leaving some room at the edges and than added some ribbons from my stash as my finishing touch!

Totally love how these bookmarks came out and this is also a nice gift to create yourself that does not take much time to make!

That is it for today’s crafty project! I wish you a creative day!
