Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another Guest Design project for the Studio Light Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection with you all!

Step 1:
I started with the creation of my base: for this I took a standard square folded card and I made sure that the fold was on the top. I placed my largest circle die (from the Crealies Crea-Nest-Lies XXL die set nr. 7) slightly over the fold on the top and taped the die down temporarily. Now I run the die through my die cutting machine and I have created a rounded card base.

Step 2:
On a separate piece of paper I stamped the largest portion of one of the new stamps in the Warm & Cozy line within the Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection called “Lace Magnolias” using brown alcohol proof ink (Spectrum Noir Alcohol-Proof ink in “Rustic Brown”, but I made sure that I had room left on the right hand side to stamp my sentiment later on.
Next I die cut a circle shape around the magnolia’s using one of the dies in the Crealies Crea-Nest-Lies XXL nr. 21 die set.

Step 3:
Onto this circle shaped panel I stamped the sentiment form the Jenine’s Mindful Art Essentials stamp set with number JMA-ES-STAMP65.
I also stamped the top two magnolia images from the Lace Magnolias stamp onto alcohol marker friendly paper using black alcohol proof ink (Spectrum Noir Alcohol-Proof “Noir Black”).

Step 4:
Next is the colouring process for the magnolias: for this I’m using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers. For my pinks I picked: PV1, MG1, BP4, BP6 and BP7. For my browns I picked RB2 and EB5, a little green is AG2. And around the flowers on the brown stamped panel I colour with a little TB1 (this helps push the magnolias to the front and the lace design to the back).
After the colouring is done i added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.

Step 5 :
I cut around the stamped lines using my scissors and I edged the sides of the cut image using a black Memento Dual Marker.
On the background panel I created splatters using a Coliro Pearl Colour in “Inka Gold” in combination with a brush.
Now I can create a mat for my smallest circle panel, for this I used some matching green card stock from my stash. I adhered both circle shaped panels together using liquid glue and this combination I adhered to my circle shaped card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.
I adhered the coloured and cut magnolias on top of the brown base and adhered there using one millimetre thick foam tape. And for my finishing touches I picked some sparkling clear sequins in different sizes and adhered them here and there using Ranger Medium Matte from the small bottle.

And that is it for today’s project, I wish you a creative day!
