Hi everyone, today I would like to share this cute little project with you all: it’s a gift envelope for money, but a gift card might work as well (when you create the backside of the tag differently).

I started my project by picking some beautiful design papers from the JMA-WYS-PP34 paper pad. On these papers I traced the design from the Dutch Doobadoo template with number 470.713.030 (there are two parts that fit into each other). I also die cut one of the elements from the Studio Light STENCILSL277 die set to create my back pocket (for the actual money to be put in).
After cutting the designs out using my scissors I edged the shapes using Memento Ink in “Teal Zeal” and Archival Ink in “Monarch Orange” using a foam applicator tool.
Onto the backside of the tag I adhered the pocket using double sided tape and on the front of the tag I added my quote, which is one from the stickers out of the STICKERJMA04 booklet.

Onto the decoration of the envelope itself: I picked some elements from the JMA-WYS-DCB24 die cut book. I also die cut the small mandala shape from the STENCILJMA10 die set from black card stock and I stamped and coloured the flower image from the JMA-ES-STAMP65 stamp set. I stamped using black alcohol proof ink and I coloured the image using my Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers in the following colours: Coral Blend marker, Dark Red Blend marker, Dark Red Shades marker, Blue Turquoise Shades marker and Aqua Blue Blend marker. Around the image I used a SN Classique alcohol marker in RB05. After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.

To finish my project I now only have to adhere the created elements on top of my gift envelope using one millimetre thick foam tape and liquid glue.
And that is it for today’s cute little project, I wish you a creative day!
