Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another Guest Design project for the Studio Light Jenine’s Mindful Art Collection with you all!

Step 1:
I started my project by stamping the flower image from the Jenine’s Mindful Art Essentials Collection (JMA-ES-STAMP65), from a while ago, onto Strathmore Toned Tan paper using black ink. I also die cut a rectangle panel two sizes smaller than my card base from the same paper. Onto this paper I stamped the corner image from the new Warm & Cozy stamp set “Flower Collages” (JMA-WAC-STAMP109) using Spectrum Noir “Rustic Brown” alcohol proof ink (just because I like this colour of brown). On parts of this rectangle panel I next stamp the large music notes stamp (JMA-NA-STAMP18) from the New Awakening line using the same brown ink, making sure I lightly clean of the stamp where I know the flower corner images are. I doesn’t matter too much if you slightly overstamp the flowers.
Now I’m using a white drawing pencil and colour in the flower images from the corner images lightly, this will push them to the front. I also use this pencil to at my highlights to the larger flower image.

Step 2:
Now I can colour in the large flower image using my Spectrum Noir Colourblend coloured pencils in combination with the previously mentioned white drawing pencil. From the SN Colourblend pencils I’m using: Grape, Cranberry, Sage, Fern Green, Avocado and Bark.
After the colouring is done I can add back in some of the black stamped lines with a 01 black fine liner pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border.
To create a bit more interest in the background I die cut the small mandala shape from the Time to Relax die set STENCILJMA12 from vellum. This I adhere behind the larger flower image.
From the Time to Relax sticker book (STICKERJMA05) I picked a quote, cut it in half, adhered it to green mirror card stock and fussy cut it.

Step 3:
Now I can put my card together: on my brown music notes background I stamped a few ink splotches from the same stamp set the flower image comes from (JMA-ES-STAMP65) using black ink.
I die cut a slightly larger rectangle panel from matching deep red card stock and I adhered both rectangle panels together using liquid glue. This combination I adhered onto my creme coloured linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.
And to finish the project I now only have to adhere the flower image with the mini vellum mandala and the text stickers on top using one millimetre thick foam tape and liquid glue.

And that is it for today’s project, I wish you a creative day!
