Jenine’s Mindful Art Guest Project: Masculine Card

Hi everyone, today I would like to share this JMA Masculine Card Project with you all!

I started my project by looking through the JMA-WYS-PP34 paper pad for background papers that I felt had a masculine feel to them. Then I picked a rectangle image from the JMA-WYS-PP35 paper pad in the same way, this image will be my focal point.

From the pack of vellum sheets (JMA-WYS-VES01) I took the printed vellum sheet with the newsletter text and used my ruler to tear of a strip. Next I used a stapler to adhere the piece of vellum to the background paper (that I cut to size to one size smaller than my card base). Onto this combination I than stamped my sentiment ( this particular one is from the Crafter’s Companion “Newspaper Collage” stamp set but you can use any stamp that you have)!

I also adhered the focal point onto a piece of black card stock and cut around it. This will bring the focal point more to the front of the visual perception of the card.

From the JMA-WYS-DCB24 die cut paper elements block (you don’t have to cut the images out using your scissors, but I still trim them down a slight bit more) I took some images that I felt matched the focal point that I already had going on, and adhered them to the image using liquid glue or one millimetre thick foam tape.

Than I adhered this combination onto the background panel with the vellum already adhered to it. And to finish the project I now only have to adhere this combination onto my black linen textured card base.

And that is it for today’s card project! I wish you a creative day!
