Hi everyone, today I would like share this fun art journal spread with you all! It has been in the make for a while, because I couldn’t decide what my main focal point should be, but I finally finished it! Let’s get started!

Step 1:
I’m working in my JMA Slimline Journal and I first created the mirror image of the right hand page from this art journal spread, using the Dutch Doobadoo mask with number 470.713.122. This will be my left hand page of this journal spread.
I also created a journal page using the large JMA-WAC-SCRAP74 design paper and with some of the left over pieces I created the left hand bottom corner on my left hand journal page for this spread.

Step 2:
Next I used some black ink and the JMA-ES-STAMP140 to stamp several uncompleted parts of this large stamp onto the left hand page of this spread. After that I applied some Imagination Crafts Sparkle Medium in “Champagne” over the JMA-ES-MASK78, using a palette knife, also adding a little to the right hand page of my journal spread, and let that dry.

Step 3:
Now I can focus on my focal point: in the end I decided to use the STAMPJMA21 stamp, but I altered the shape as you can see in the picture. After stamping the image, using a juicy black ink and heat embossing directly afterwards using clear embossing powder, fussy cutting the image, and rearranging several parts of the image I coloured the image using my JMA Light Markers in the colours: Willow Green, Pine Forest, Macchiato and Old Red in combination with my water brush. After the colouring is done and dry I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.

Step 4:
I adhered the rose image onto the left hand page of my journal spread using liquid glue and one millimetre thick foam tape. For my text I picked one of the stickers from the STICKERJMA05 sticker book and created a mat using matching red card stock and cut that out. I adhered the text onto the right hand page using liquid glue and to finish my project I used some whole einforcements created with the use of the Crealies CLJP650 Binder Reinforcement Shapes die set.

And that is it for today’s art journal project! I wish you a creative day!
