Hi everyone, today I would like to share this set of penguin Christmas cards with you all. Let’s get started!

Step 1:
I started my project by printing some digital images from Whimsy Stamps onto alcohol proof paper. The images are called “Penguin Elf” and “Penguin Carolers”. Now I can colour the images using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator and some Classique alcohol markers in the following colours:
- black hues: IG2, IG6 and IG10;
- “white” hues: BG1, BG2, Classique marker in CR05;
- red hues: FS2, DR2 and DR5;
- yellow / brown hues: FS9, GY5 and Classique markers in LY05 and BO05;
- blue hues: TB1 and TB2;
- green hues: DG1, CG4, LG1, AG4 and JG7.
After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.
Later on I fussy cut the images leaving a small border and some “snow”.

Step 2:
For my background I die cut a circle and rectangle shape from light blue card stock. I stamped my sentiment using black ink, this particular sentiment is from the Studio Light BL-ES-STAMP303 stamp set. Next I placed my stencil of choice (this one is TCW720s, my favourite Christmas stencil) over the die cut panels and applied some SN Harmony Water-Reactive ink in “Ocean Blue” over the stencil using a stencil brush.

Step 3:
Finishing the card is easy: I die cut some square and rectangle panels using green and red card stock and adhered the layers together using liquid glue and one millimetre thick foam tape.
And that is it for today’s Christmas card project! I wish you a creative day!
