Hi everyone, today I would like to share this fun boy birthday card with you all! Let’s get started!

Step 1:

I started my project by printing this digital image by Mo’s Digital Pencil called “Video Boy” onto alcohol proof paper. Now I can colour the image using my Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers. I used the following marker colours: Fair Skin Blend marker, Tan Blend marker, Tan Shades marker, Earth Brown Shades marker, Gold Yellow Blend marker, Ice Grey Blend marker, Ice Grey Shades marker, True Blue Shades marker, True Blue Blend marker, Ice Blue Blend marker, Alpine Green Blend marker, Jade Green Blend marker, Jade Green Shades marker and Lavender Blend marker.

After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I die cut a circle shape around the image.

Step 2:

I die cut a square panel two sizes smaller than my card base from design paper that I found in my stash. Onto this die cut panel I stamped my sentiment (this particular one is from Clearly Besotted called “Sweet Sentiments Plus”) using black ink.

I also die cut a slightly larger circle shaped and square mat from black card stock and adhered the matching layers together using liquid glue. The combination of square panels I adhered onto my white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape and to finish the card I now only have to adhere the combined circle shapes onto the card using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s boy birthday card project! I wish you a creative day!
