Hi everyone, today I would like to show you this cute Christmas card project!

Step 1:
I printed this digital Whimsy Stamps image called “Heidi with Sledge” onto alcohol marker friendly paper. Then the colouring process can begin, for today’s colouring project I used the Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers:
Skin: FS7, TN1, TN2 and for blush CR2;
Hair and sledge: GB1, GB8 and EB5;
For the white parts of her clothes and the bird: BG1 and BG4;
For the rest of her coat and the present: BT3, BT6 and BT9;
For the purple parts: HB1, HB3, LV3 and PL5;
The snow: IG1 and IG5;
Around the image: LY1.
I added some highlights using a white gel pen and then fussy cut the image leaving a small border.

Step 2:
Now that my focal point is ready I can work on my background panel: for this I die cut a square panel from water colour paper and stamped one of the sentiments from the Stampin’Up “Tin of Tags” stamp set using black ink.
I wanted to make the background look like she is in the woods, create a sort of scene: for this I used the Clearly Besotted “Birch Background” stamp in combination with the Spectrum Noir Water-Reactive “Sandstorm” ink pad and stamped the wood image twice. After stamping I using a water-brush to even out the stamped ink a little bit and dried with my heat tool.
I also cut a strip of vellum 3 cm wide.

Step 3:
Time to put my card together: I die cut a slightly larger square panel from dark teal card stock and adhered both square panels together using liquid glue. I wrapped the vellum strip around these combined panels and adhered on the back using regular tape.
Now this combination is ready to put on my crème coloured linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape. And to finish my card I now only have to adhere the coloured image on top, also using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And that is it for today’s colouring project! I wish you a creative day!
