Hi everyone, today I’m sharing with you this weeks challenge project for The Paper Shelter Design Team and this weeks theme is “Activity (Sport or Hobby)”. You can find all the details for the current challenge here!

For today’s project I choose a digital image from The Paper Shelter called “Namaste”;
and I started my project by printing this image onto alcohol marker friendly paper. Now I can die cut around the image using one of my square nesting die sets, leaving room on the top for my sentiment. I used one of the sentiments from the Lili of the Valley stamp set “Handwritten Phrases” and stamped this with black alcohol proof ink on the top part of the previously die cut square panel.
Next I can colour the image using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers, mostly the Illustrator ones, combined with some Classique ones (that are not available yet in the Illustrator version):
For skin I used: FS7, TN1, TN2, and Classique CR05, in combination with CR1 for blush;
For hair I used: FS9, TN5, TN9, EB8, GB5. The cat is GB2 and GB5;
For green I used: lighter colours: LG3, LG5 and Classique LG05; darker colours: GG1, GG3 and GG5;
For pinks I used: brighter colours: PV1, PV2, PV3, PV4 an BP7; for muted colours: AP1, AP3 and Classique in AP05.
After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.

Now that the colouring is done the rest is simple: I die cut a larger square green panel (one size smaller than my card base) from matching green card stock using another nesting die set. These two square panels I adhered together using liquid glue. And to finish my project I now only have to adhere this combination onto a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.
