Hi everyone, today I’m sharing with you this weeks challenge project for The Paper Shelter Design Team and this weeks theme is “Waterwise (water in any form: ocean, puddle, rain, bath, kitchen sink)”. You can find all the details for the current challenge here!
I started my project by printing this digital image by The Paper Shelter called “When in doubt.... Exaggerate!” onto alcohol marker friendly paper.
Next I die cut a rectangle shape around the image, two sizes smaller than my card base, and stamped my sentiment on the right hand side using one of the stamps in the Kaisercraft “Background Birthday Sentiments” stamp set.

Now I can start colouring the image and today I’m using my Spectrum Noir Illustrator and Classique markers:
For skin I used: Classique marker in CR05 and Illustrators in TN1 and TN2;
For browns I used: Illustrators in GB2, GB7 and GB9;
And dark green, greens and teals: GG1, GG3, GG5, LG05 (Classique), LG1, AG2, LG3, GT05 (Classique), BT3, BT8, TB1 and BGR3;
Around the image I used the Classique marker in GY05.
After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.
Now that the colouring is done finishing the card is really easy, I die cut a slightly larger rectangle mat using metallic brown card stock and adhered both rectangle panels together using liquid glue and than I adhered these combined panels onto my white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.

And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).
That is it for today’s project! I wish you a creative day!
