Hi everyone, today I’m sharing with you this weeks challenge project for The Paper Shelter Design Team and this weeks theme is “Festive Colours”. You can find all the details for the current challenge here!
I started my project by printing this digital image by The Paper Shelter called “Here we Go!” onto alcohol marker friendly paper.

Next I can colour the image using my Spectrum Noir TriBlend alcohol markers. I used the following colours: Fair Skin Blend marker, Ice Grey Blend marker, Ice Grey Shades marker, Brown Grey Shades marker, Pale Pink Blend marker, Pale Pink Shades marker, Dark Red Blend marker, Gold Yellow Blend marker, Gold Brown Blend marker, Tan Blend marker, Gold Brown Shades marker, Earth Brown Blend marker, Tan Shades marker, Jade Green Blend marker, Jade Green Shades marker, True Blue Blend marker and a Classique marker in BT05.
After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen and I fussy cut the image leaving a small border and some ground so it looks like snow.

For my background I die cut a circle shape from matching blue card stock on which I stamped my sentiments (Studio Light BL-ES-STAMP303) using black ink. I also die cut a square panel from Christmas design paper from my stash, one size smaller than my card base.
Time to put my card together: I adhered the square panel onto my white linen textured card base using liquid glue. I adhered the coloured and fussy cut image onto the circle shape also using liquid glue and to finish the card I can adhere this combination onto the card using one millimetre thick foam tape.

So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).
That is it for today’s project! I wish you a creative day!
