Hi everyone, today I’m sharing with you my summer “Anything Goes” challenge project for The Paper Shelter Design Team. You can find all the details for the current challenge here!
https://thepapershelter.blogspot.com
For today’s project I choose a digital image from The Paper Shelter called “Barber Shop”: https://www.thepapershelter.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1&products_id=639
I started my project by printing this image onto alcohol marker friendly paper. I die cut around the image using one of my rectangle nesting die sets leaving room at the bottom for my sentiment. Today I’m colouring with my Spectrum Noir Illustrator alcohol markers and a few of the SN Classique markers.
For skin I used: Classique marker in CR05, Illustrators in FS7, TN1 and CR1;
For hair I used: GB1, GB7, EB5 and EB8;
For my reds I picked: CR1 and CR7;
For my greens I picked: LG1, LG5 and AG4;
For my blues I picked: TB1, TB4 and TB6;
For the metal elements I choose: BG1 and BG4;
Around the image I used GB1 and a Classique marker in GT05.

After the colouring is done I added back in some highlights using a white gel pen.
Now I’m ready to add my sentiment which is from the Clearly Besotted “Simply Said Birthday” stamp set.

Next I created a slightly larger rectangle mat from matching green card stock and adhered both rectangle panels together using liquid glue. To finish my card I now only have to adhere this combination onto a white linen textured card base using one millimetre thick foam tape.

So now it's your turn! Come and play with us over at The Paper Shelter, and you could win an amazing $30 gift voucher if you use an image from The Paper Shelter. And if you enter with a different brand image, you can still win three TPS digis of your choice (which you can then use to enter the next challenge, and so be eligible for the $30 voucher!).
And that is it for today’s project! I wish you a creative day!
